Voluntary settlement of missing deliveries shall be made in connection with the payment of contributions for the following month. The value of the document for next payment shall include, in addition to the value for the corresponding month, the value due for missing deliveries, interest and expenses. All these values will be individually identified, either in the parcel corresponding to the FCT or in the parcel corresponding to the FGCT.
In this way, the voluntary settlement of debts is carried out in an integrated manner in the normal payment process, without prejudice to any fines resulting from the administrative offence proceedings to which the employer may be subject.
Upon validation by the employer, the document for payment will be issued and will integrate all the amounts to be paid (amounts in arrears and contributions of the current month), including any interest and expenses due for non-compliance.
Voluntary settlement of missing supplies may be made in instalments. To this end, the entity requests by request made on the website www.FundosCompensacao.pt, addressed to the chairman of the FGCT and/or FCT management board, with an indication of the reasons and proposal regarding the number of payments to be made.
Deserving of approval, the settlement of arrears shall be made in accordance with the corresponding order and in the number of instalments defined therein. Settlement of debts under these conditions continues to take place in an integrated manner with monthly payments. However, the value of the instalment corresponding to the late deliveries will correspond only to one instalment and not to the entire amount payable.
The maximum number of instalments, as well as the minimum amount of each instalment to be paid to each of the Funds, shall be set out in the respective Management Regulation, approved by the corresponding Management Board.
