The scheme established by Law 70/2013 of 30 August 2013 guarantees the employee whose employment contract has ended and who is entitled to payment of compensation for the termination of that employment contract, calculated in accordance with Article 366 of the Labour Code, the receipt of at least 50% of that amount. That guarantee shall be without prejudice to the employer’s obligation, in the event of the dismissal of its employee, to pay him the compensation to which he is entitled as a result of the termination of his contract of employment.
